Porcelain Veneers in Tribeca, NYC
I'm Dr. Nina Izhaky. I don't do veneers that look like veneers — those thick, chalky-white teeth you can spot from across the street. I design hand-layered porcelain veneers that look like perfect natural teeth: translucent, shaped to your face, and built to last. Here at 54 Warren Street in Tribeca, your smile makeover starts with a digital preview — you see your new smile before we touch a single tooth.

Why our veneers look real
Most veneers fail for one reason: they look done. Ours are built on a different philosophy — invisible luxury, not obvious dentistry.
Natural translucency, not chalky white.
Real enamel lets light through. Our veneers are hand-layered ceramic, built layer by layer to replicate the subtle gradients of natural enamel — radiant, but never flat or opaque.
Designed for your face, not a template.
Every tooth's length, width, and angle is engineered to match your lip posture, cheekbones, and facial proportions. Your smile should look like it was always yours.
Ultra-thin and enamel-first.
Our veneers are crafted as thin as 0.2mm to 0.5mm. We remove only a fraction of a millimeter of outer enamel — and with no-prep options, sometimes none at all.
Preview your smile before we begin.
High-resolution 3D scans and a temporary composite 'try-on' smile let you see your result before starting. No surprises — you approve the design first.
Your veneer smile makeover, step by step
A predictable, digitally planned process — typically just 2 to 3 visits.
Digital smile design & 3D mockup.
We capture high-resolution 3D digital scans and place a temporary composite 'try-on' smile in your mouth, so you preview your results before we begin.
Minimal prep & custom temporaries.
Micro-contouring of the outer enamel — just 0.3mm to 0.5mm — followed by custom temporary veneers designed to mimic your final look.
Master ceramist handcrafting.
Elite master ceramists hand-layer feldspathic or E-Max porcelain, infusing each veneer with natural internal character and translucency.
Precision bonding & bite fine-tuning.
Permanent dual-cure resin bonding, then precise occlusal balancing so your veneers function as strong as natural enamel.
Luxury cosmetic dentistry should be invisible
True luxury in cosmetic dentistry is invisible — enhancing your natural beauty rather than altering it. That's why we reject unnatural, overly white teeth. Whether you want to close a gap, correct staining, repair worn edges, or redesign your whole smile, we custom-blend multi-layered porcelain shades with your lip structure and skin tone. The result looks radiant, lifelike, and uniquely yours — the kind of smile people compliment without ever guessing it's veneers.

Sometimes the Best Veneer Is the One I Talk You Out Of
Let me tell you something most cosmetic dentists won't. Sometimes a patient walks in asking for veneers, and I look at their smile — thick, beautiful enamel, teeth that just need to be in the right positions — and I talk them out of it. All they really need is orthodontic alignment to let their amazing smile shine. Putting porcelain on teeth that don't need it would be doing dentistry to your smile instead of for it. My job starts with being honest about what your teeth actually need.
When veneers ARE the right answer, you'll know exactly why. Staining that whitening can't fix, worn edges, chips, gaps, teeth that never grew into the shape you want — that's where hand-layered porcelain earns its place. And even then, you don't take my word for it: we build you a digital preview and a temporary try-on smile first, so you approve the design before we touch a single tooth. You should never be surprised at the end of cosmetic dentistry.
What 'invisible luxury' means in practice is restraint. Thin ceramic — 0.2 to 0.5 millimeters — matched to your lip posture, your facial proportions, your skin tone. Not the chalky-white wall of teeth you can spot from across the street, but a smile people compliment without ever guessing why. Whether your path turns out to be veneers, whitening, or orthodontics instead, the plan is the same: conservative where we can be, beautiful where it counts, and yours from the first preview to the final polish.
“I talk patients out of veneers when their enamel is thick and beautiful — all they need is orthodontic alignment to let their amazing smile shine.”

Questions about porcelain veneers
01What are porcelain veneers, exactly?
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin ceramic shells — as thin as 0.2mm to 0.5mm — bonded to the front of your teeth. They correct gaps, staining, chips, worn edges, and uneven shapes, giving you a redesigned smile while preserving most of your natural tooth.
02Do porcelain veneers ruin your real teeth?
No. We remove only a fraction of a millimeter (0.3mm–0.5mm) of outer enamel, and with no-prep veneers we remove none at all. The ceramic sheath actually adds structural strength to the tooth.
03Will my veneers look fake or too white?
Never. We specialize in natural translucency — hand-layered porcelain custom-blended to your lip structure and skin tone. Your veneers will look radiant and lifelike, not chalky or artificial.
04How many appointments does a veneer makeover take?
Typically 2 to 3 visits: digital smile design and 3D scan with your try-on preview, micro-prep with custom temporaries, and final precision bonding.
05How long do porcelain veneers last?
High-grade ceramic veneers last 10–20+ years with proper care — routine brushing, daily flossing, and regular six-month dental cleanings. No-prep veneers typically last 10–15 years; composite veneers 3–7 years.
06How much do veneers cost in NYC?
At our practice, handcrafted porcelain veneers range $1,900–$3,500 per tooth, ultra-thin no-prep veneers $1,800–$3,000 per tooth, and direct composite veneers $500–$1,500 per tooth. Your exact plan — and how many teeth it includes — is mapped out at your consultation: call (212) 561-5303.
07Will you ever tell me NOT to get veneers?
Yes, and it happens more than you'd think. If your enamel is thick and beautiful and what you really need is alignment, I'll say so — orthodontics can let your natural smile shine without touching your teeth. We only recommend veneers when they're genuinely the best answer.
08What's the difference between no-prep and traditional veneers?
Traditional veneers remove a fraction of a millimeter (0.3mm–0.5mm) of outer enamel to make room for the ceramic; no-prep veneers are ultra-thin (0.2mm–0.5mm) and often require no removal at all. Which one fits you depends on your tooth position, color, and the change you're after — we'll show you both at your consultation.
09Can I just whiten my teeth instead of getting veneers?
Whitening works beautifully on surface stains, but it can't fix shape, chips, gaps, or worn edges. At your consultation we'll show you what whitening can do on its own — and if that's all you need, we'll tell you that too.
