All-on-4 Dental Implants in FiDi, NYC
All-on-4 is a full-arch implant concept in which four implants support a complete fixed bridge — an alternative to dentures for people missing most or all teeth in an arch. I'm Dr. Nina Izhaky. From FiDi, we're one stop on the A/C/E from Fulton Center, and my FiDi All-on-4 patients tend to evaluate this the way they evaluate everything: on the numbers, the timeline, and the risk. Here's the straight version.

Why All-on-4 works for FiDi patients
If you're missing most or all of your teeth — or facing that reality soon — you have two kinds of options: removable, or fixed. All-on-4 is the fixed one that doesn't require rebuilding your entire jaw first.
Fixed teeth, not a removable denture.
Four strategically placed implants support a full arch of teeth that stays in — no adhesives, no slipping, no taking your teeth out at night. You brush and floss them like natural teeth.
Four implants, not six or eight.
The concept uses two anterior and two posterior implants; the back two are angled to make the most of your available bone. That often means no bone grafting and a shorter, simpler surgery than traditional full-arch implant approaches.
Designed around your face and bite.
Your final bridge is planned digitally around your facial proportions, lip support, and bite — not a stock set of denture teeth. The result looks like teeth that belong in your face, because they're designed for it.
One coordinated treatment pathway.
3D imaging, surgical planning, implant placement, and your provisional teeth are coordinated in one practice — no bouncing between a surgeon's office across town and a restorative dentist somewhere else.
How All-on-4 treatment works
A planned, phased process — from first scan to final bridge.
3D imaging and candidacy evaluation.
Cone-beam 3D imaging maps your bone anatomy precisely. We evaluate whether four implants can support your arch, whether your bone is sufficient, and whether you're a candidate for same-day provisional teeth. Not everyone qualifies — we'll know after a full evaluation.
Digital surgical planning.
Implant positions and angles are planned on your 3D scan before surgery day. The angled posterior implants are positioned to use your existing bone and reduce the cantilever on the final bridge.
Implant placement and provisional teeth.
Four implants are placed in a single surgical visit. When adequate stability and clinical criteria are met, a fixed provisional restoration — a full set of temporary teeth — may be attached the same day.
Healing and your definitive bridge.
After the healing phase, your definitive bridge is designed and fitted — refined in material, fit, bite design, and hygiene access compared to the provisional. This is the set built to last.
One stop up from FiDi's financial core
A good share of our patients work in FiDi — the trading floors and banks around Wall Street, the firms in the towers by the World Trade Center, the crews on Stone Street after the closing bell. Our office at 54 Warren Street is one subway stop north of the financial core, which makes us the practical choice for early-morning appointments before the market opens or late-afternoon visits on the way home.
Getting here by subway
- A, C, E from Fulton Center to Chambers Street — one stop
- 2, 3 from Wall Street to Chambers Street
- 4, 5 from Wall Street to Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall, then a ten-minute walk
- J, Z from Broad Street to Chambers Street
- R, W from Cortlandt Street to City Hall
- PATH from the World Trade Center, then a short walk north to Warren Street
Driving and parking
FiDi commuters mostly don't drive in — and they shouldn't have to for us. The A/C/E from Fulton Center to Chambers is one stop; from the station it's a five-minute walk. Drivers will find attended garages on Warren and Greenwich Streets.
All-on-4 on the Merits
On the merits: four implants instead of six to eight, because the posterior pair is angled to use available bone — which frequently eliminates grafting, shortens surgery, and reduces complexity versus traditional full-arch approaches. One surgical visit. Provisional fixed teeth the same day in qualifying cases. Definitive bridge after healing.
On the timeline: evaluation and 3D planning, then surgery, then a healing phase in provisional teeth, then the final bridge. Months, not years — and you're never without fixed teeth during the process. Recovery, in our patients' own words, is typically unremarkable: very little downtime, much less than they expected.
On the risk: candidacy isn't universal — bone volume, medical history, and bite forces determine whether four implants can carry the load, and same-day loading can't be promised before evaluation. That's not a disclaimer; it's the clinical reality, and any honest practice tells you upfront. The consultation gives you the actual answer for your mouth, not a brochure.
“Si el diente ya no está y el hueso está bien, el proceso de reemplazo es en realidad muy tranquilo — muy poca recuperación. Lo que escuchamos de nuestros pacientes es lo poco notable que fue el procedimiento. Están sorprendidos, y agradecemos su aprecio.”
