Emergency Dentist in FiDi, NYC
An emergency dentist treats tooth pain, broken teeth, swelling, and dental injuries the same day. I’m Dr. Nina Izhaky — my practice is at 54 Warren Street, one stop on the 1 train from the Financial District, and when the office is open we see emergencies the same day. Toothache at your desk on Wall Street? Crown gave out before a meeting? Call (212) 561-5303 — we’ll get you in, get you comfortable, and get you back to work.

Toothache at your desk in FiDi? Call (212) 561-5303. We’re one stop on the 1 train from Rector Street to Chambers Street — under 15 minutes door to door — and we see emergencies the same day when the office is open. Broken crown before a meeting, cracked tooth from grinding, swelling: pain relief first, then we fix the cause. Tell us your time window and we’ll work around it.
From Dr. Izhaky
I know you can’t take the afternoon off. We work around that.
Half my FiDi emergency patients call from their desks. A molar that started throbbing during a morning meeting. A crown that came off with lunch. A cracked tooth from nighttime grinding that finally gave out — stress does that, and this neighborhood runs on stress. Nobody in the Financial District has a free afternoon to kill.
So here’s how we handle it: call, tell us your window, and we’ll fit you in honestly — no three-hour waiting room, no vague “we’ll squeeze you in.” We diagnose fast, treat what hurts, and give you a clear plan for anything that needs a follow-up. Most of my FiDi patients are back at their desks the same afternoon, out of pain.
What counts as a dental emergency?
If it’s disrupting your workday, it’s worth a call. (212) 561-5303 — thirty seconds and you’ll know whether it needs today.
Toothache at your desk
The 3 PM molar that ruins your afternoon. Call on your way over — when we’re open, we see emergencies the same day.
Crown or veneer emergency
A crown that pops off before a client dinner or a board meeting. We re-seat or replace it fast, and it looks like nothing happened.
Cracked tooth from grinding
Stress clenching cracks teeth — we see it constantly in FiDi. A cracked tooth needs prompt evaluation before it splits further.
Swelling in the gums or face
Swelling can mean a spreading infection. Don’t try to work through it — this needs same-day attention.
Broken tooth
Fractures from sports, falls, or biting something hard. Save any fragments; we repair breaks with tooth-matched materials.
Knocked-out tooth
30–60 minutes decides it. Crown only, gentle rinse, cold milk, call (212) 561-5303 immediately.
How to get to us from FiDi
The 1 train from Rector Street to Chambers Street is one stop — about five minutes. Walk out of the station, two minutes east, and you’re at 54 Warren Street between Church Street and Broadway. From Wall Street proper, the 4 or 5 to Fulton Street works too, then a short walk west. From the Broad Street and Whitehall areas, it’s a straight walk north past Trinity Church — about twelve minutes at a normal pace.
Fastest option in real pain: tell us you’re coming and take a cab up Broadway. It’s a five-minute ride from most of FiDi, and we’ll be ready when you walk in.
