Veneers in West Village, NYC

Veneers in the West Village, NYC

Veneers are ultra-thin shells of hand-layered porcelain — 0.2 to 0.5 millimeters — bonded to the front of your teeth to reshape your smile. I'm Dr. Nina Izhaky. My West Village patients tend to want the same thing I want: veneers that look like perfect natural teeth, not like veneers. Translucent, shaped to the face, built to last 10 to 20-plus years. From the West Village, we're twelve minutes down the 1 line to our Tribeca studio.

Why our veneers look real in West Village

Most veneers fail for one reason: they look done. Ours are built on a different philosophy — invisible luxury, not obvious dentistry.

Natural translucency, not chalky white.

Real enamel lets light through. Our veneers are hand-layered ceramic, built layer by layer to replicate the subtle gradients of natural enamel — radiant, but never flat or opaque.

Designed for your face, not a template.

Every tooth's length, width, and angle is engineered to match your lip posture, cheekbones, and facial proportions. Your smile should look like it was always yours.

Ultra-thin and enamel-first.

Our veneers are crafted as thin as 0.2mm to 0.5mm. We remove only a fraction of a millimeter of outer enamel — and with no-prep options, sometimes none at all.

Preview your smile before we begin.

High-resolution 3D scans and a temporary composite 'try-on' smile let you see your result before starting. No surprises — you approve the design first.

Your veneer smile makeover, step by step

A predictable, digitally planned process — typically just 2 to 3 visits.

01

Digital smile design and 3D mockup.

We capture high-resolution 3D digital scans and place a temporary composite 'try-on' smile in your mouth, so you preview your results before we begin.

02

Minimal prep and custom temporaries.

Micro-contouring of the outer enamel — just 0.3mm to 0.5mm — followed by custom temporary veneers designed to mimic your final look.

03

Master ceramist handcrafting.

Elite master ceramists hand-layer feldspathic or E-Max porcelain, infusing each veneer with natural internal character and translucency.

04

Precision bonding and bite fine-tuning.

Permanent dual-cure resin bonding, then precise occlusal balancing so your veneers function as strong as natural enamel.

Down the 1 line from the West Village

The West Village is our closest neighbor to the north — the brownstone blocks off Bleecker Street, the couples pushing strollers through the West Village's quiet streets, the regulars at the corner cafés. Our office at 54 Warren Street is a straight shot down the 1 line, and the two neighborhoods share the same DNA: historic streets, real community, and a strong preference for businesses that have been around a while. We've been here since 2007.

Getting here by subway

  • 1 train from Christopher Street–Sheridan Square straight to Chambers Street — about twelve minutes, no transfer
  • A, C, E from 14th Street to Chambers Street
  • L from 8th Avenue to 14th Street–8th Avenue, transfer to the downtown A, C, E
  • PATH from 9th Street or Christopher Street to the World Trade Center, then a short walk
  • An easy bike ride down the Hudson River Greenway to Chambers Street

Driving and parking

The West Village has some of the hardest street parking in Manhattan, and Tribeca isn't much easier — take the 1 train. If you drive, there are attended garages on Warren and Greenwich Streets within a block of our door.

Invisible Luxury

Luxury You Can't See

True luxury in cosmetic dentistry is invisible. It's the smile people compliment without knowing why — not the wall of identical white teeth that announces itself from across the room. I build that invisibility layer by layer: porcelain with the subtle gradients of real enamel, shaped to your lip posture and facial proportions, shaded to your skin tone.

The West Village understands restraint, and so does my approach to tooth preparation. We remove a fraction of a millimeter of enamel — 0.3 to 0.5 — and with no-prep options, sometimes nothing at all. Conservative dentistry isn't just philosophy; it's what lets your teeth stay strong under the porcelain for decades.

Before anything is permanent, you preview everything: digital smile design, then a temporary try-on smile you wear in real life. Show your friends, take photos, sleep on it. The design isn't finished until you love it — because once the porcelain is bonded, it's yours for the next 10 to 20 years, and it should be exactly right.

“I talk patients out of veneers when their enamel is thick and beautiful — all they need is orthodontic alignment to let their amazing smile shine.”

— Dr. Nina Izhaky, Tribeca Dental Studio
