Veneers in FiDi, NYC

Veneers are ultra-thin porcelain shells — 0.2 to 0.5 millimeters — bonded to the front of your teeth to correct chips, gaps, staining, and worn edges. I'm Dr. Nina Izhaky. FiDi patients come to our Tribeca office, one stop on the A/C/E from Fulton Center, usually with a specific goal: a client-facing smile that looks polished but never "done." That's my specialty — hand-layered porcelain with natural translucency, previewed digitally before we begin.

Natural-looking porcelain veneers smile designed in FiDi, NYC at Tribeca Dental Studio

Why our veneers look real in FiDi

Most veneers fail for one reason: they look done. Ours are built on a different philosophy — invisible luxury, not obvious dentistry.

Natural translucency, not chalky white.

Real enamel lets light through. Our veneers are hand-layered ceramic, built layer by layer to replicate the subtle gradients of natural enamel — radiant, but never flat or opaque.

Designed for your face, not a template.

Every tooth's length, width, and angle is engineered to match your lip posture, cheekbones, and facial proportions. Your smile should look like it was always yours.

Ultra-thin and enamel-first.

Our veneers are crafted as thin as 0.2mm to 0.5mm. We remove only a fraction of a millimeter of outer enamel — and with no-prep options, sometimes none at all.

Preview your smile before we begin.

High-resolution 3D scans and a temporary composite 'try-on' smile let you see your result before starting. No surprises — you approve the design first.

Your veneer smile makeover, step by step

A predictable, digitally planned process — typically just 2 to 3 visits.

01

Digital smile design and 3D mockup.

We capture high-resolution 3D digital scans and place a temporary composite 'try-on' smile in your mouth, so you preview your results before we begin.

02

Minimal prep and custom temporaries.

Micro-contouring of the outer enamel — just 0.3mm to 0.5mm — followed by custom temporary veneers designed to mimic your final look.

03

Master ceramist handcrafting.

Elite master ceramists hand-layer feldspathic or E-Max porcelain, infusing each veneer with natural internal character and translucency.

04

Precision bonding and bite fine-tuning.

Permanent dual-cure resin bonding, then precise occlusal balancing so your veneers function as strong as natural enamel.

One stop up from FiDi's financial core

A good share of our patients work in FiDi — the trading floors and banks around Wall Street, the firms in the towers by the World Trade Center, the crews on Stone Street after the closing bell. Our office at 54 Warren Street is one subway stop north of the financial core, which makes us the practical choice for early-morning appointments before the market opens or late-afternoon visits on the way home.

Getting here by subway

  • A, C, E from Fulton Center to Chambers Street — one stop
  • 2, 3 from Wall Street to Chambers Street
  • 4, 5 from Wall Street to Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall, then a ten-minute walk
  • J, Z from Broad Street to Chambers Street
  • R, W from Cortlandt Street to City Hall
  • PATH from the World Trade Center, then a short walk north to Warren Street

Driving and parking

FiDi commuters mostly don't drive in — and they shouldn't have to for us. The A/C/E from Fulton Center to Chambers is one stop; from the station it's a five-minute walk. Drivers will find attended garages on Warren and Greenwich Streets.

Boardroom Natural

Polished, Never ‘Done’

In FiDi, your smile is part of your professional presence — and the worst outcome is veneers that announce themselves in a meeting. My work is built to avoid exactly that: porcelain layered like real enamel, translucent rather than opaque, shaped to your face rather than a template. The goal is a smile that reads as healthy and confident, not as cosmetic dentistry.

The process respects a FiDi calendar: 2 to 3 visits, scheduled efficiently, with the design locked in at the preview stage so there are no surprises. Digital smile design plus a temporary try-on means you approve the final look before any enamel is touched. What you approve is what gets bonded.

I'll also give you the honest screen I give everyone: if your teeth mostly need alignment, I'll say so — orthodontics can let a great natural smile shine without porcelain. And if whitening alone gets you there, we'll do that instead. Veneers are for the cases where nothing more conservative will do the job, and I'll tell you plainly which case you're in.

“I talk patients out of veneers when their enamel is thick and beautiful — all they need is orthodontic alignment to let their amazing smile shine.”

— Dr. Nina Izhaky, Tribeca Dental Studio
