Veneers in the East Village, NYC
Veneers are thin ceramic shells bonded to the front of your teeth that fix chips, gaps, worn edges, and stubborn discoloration. I'm Dr. Nina Izhaky, and I'll be direct with you the way East Village patients are direct with me: veneers are a serious, beautiful, long-term commitment — 10 to 20-plus years — and they're not right for everyone. At our Tribeca office, about 25 minutes from the East Village, the process starts with a digital preview, not a sales pitch.

Why our veneers look real in East Village
Most veneers fail for one reason: they look done. Ours are built on a different philosophy — invisible luxury, not obvious dentistry.
Natural translucency, not chalky white.
Real enamel lets light through. Our veneers are hand-layered ceramic, built layer by layer to replicate the subtle gradients of natural enamel — radiant, but never flat or opaque.
Designed for your face, not a template.
Every tooth's length, width, and angle is engineered to match your lip posture, cheekbones, and facial proportions. Your smile should look like it was always yours.
Ultra-thin and enamel-first.
Our veneers are crafted as thin as 0.2mm to 0.5mm. We remove only a fraction of a millimeter of outer enamel — and with no-prep options, sometimes none at all.
Preview your smile before we begin.
High-resolution 3D scans and a temporary composite 'try-on' smile let you see your result before starting. No surprises — you approve the design first.
Your veneer smile makeover, step by step
A predictable, digitally planned process — typically just 2 to 3 visits.
Digital smile design and 3D mockup.
We capture high-resolution 3D digital scans and place a temporary composite 'try-on' smile in your mouth, so you preview your results before we begin.
Minimal prep and custom temporaries.
Micro-contouring of the outer enamel — just 0.3mm to 0.5mm — followed by custom temporary veneers designed to mimic your final look.
Master ceramist handcrafting.
Elite master ceramists hand-layer feldspathic or E-Max porcelain, infusing each veneer with natural internal character and translucency.
Precision bonding and bite fine-tuning.
Permanent dual-cure resin bonding, then precise occlusal balancing so your veneers function as strong as natural enamel.
Worth the crosstown trip from the East Village
We see East Village patients every week — artists and musicians from the blocks around Tompkins Square Park, young professionals off St. Mark's Place, longtime residents who've watched the neighborhood change since the '80s. It's a crosstown trip to reach our Tribeca office at 54 Warren Street, but it's a straightforward one, and our patients tell us the care is worth the L train.
Getting here by subway
- L from 1st Avenue or 3rd Avenue to 14th Street–8th Avenue, transfer to the downtown A, C, E to Chambers Street
- 6 from Astor Place to Bleecker Street, transfer to the downtown 1 to Chambers Street
- N, R, W from 8th Street–NYU to City Hall, then a short walk west
- F from 2nd Avenue to West 4th Street, transfer to the downtown A, C, E
- About 25 minutes door to door from most of the East Village
Driving and parking
Driving crosstown through the Village is slow at any hour — the subway is the move. If you do drive, there are attended garages on Warren and Greenwich Streets within a block of our door.
The Honest Veneer Consultation
Here's what an honest veneer consultation sounds like. First: do you actually need veneers, or would whitening, bonding, or orthodontics get you where you want to go? I talk patients out of veneers regularly — when the enamel is thick and beautiful, alignment alone can let an amazing smile shine. That's not a line; it's how I practice.
Second: what are you actually buying? Hand-layered porcelain, 0.2 to 0.5 millimeters, designed around your face — not a stock smile from a catalog. The difference between that and bargain veneers is the difference between a tailored suit and one off the rack. Both cover you; only one looks like it was made for you.
Third: what happens after? Veneers last 10 to 20-plus years with real care — brushing, flossing, six-month cleanings, and not using your teeth as tools. They're an investment, and I'll treat the consultation like one: full information, digital preview, no pressure. The L to the A/C/E gets you here in about 25 minutes; the decision should take longer than the trip.
“Disuado a los pacientes de las carillas cuando su esmalte es grueso y hermoso — todo lo que necesitan es alineación ortodóntica para dejar brillar su increíble sonrisa.”
— Dr. Nina Izhaky, Tribeca Dental Studio
