What I see in FiDi patients is a lot of coffee and a lot of video calls — both fixable in the same visit. Coffee staining is surface staining, and surface staining is what professional gel does best. One thing I insist on even for the busiest schedules: the exam first. Whitening over an undiagnosed cavity or gum issue is a bad idea, and I'd rather spend ten minutes checking than have you whiten a tooth that needed a filling. It's the unglamorous part of honest dentistry, and I don't skip it.
