Dental Crowns & Bridges
Dental crowns are one of the most common and versatile restorative treatments available for patients who are struggling with a significantly damaged and/or decayed tooth. These custom “caps” are designed to completely cover the natural crown portion of your tooth above the gum line with a lifelike replacement, recreating its shape, strength, and function. Crowns are also used to restore individually placed dental implants, treat teeth that have undergone root canal therapy, and correct cosmetic imperfections.
Dental crowns can support dental bridges as well, which replace one or more missing teeth in a row along the top or bottom arch. These crowns are placed over adjacent healthy teeth as “anchors,” holding the bridge in place for a fixed and sturdy result. Implant-retained bridges are also available at Tribeca Dental Studio and highly recommended, as they do not require any natural teeth to be significantly altered during placement.
